National Democratic Congress(NDC) Flagbearer aspirant, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor has congratulated ex-President John Mahama on his election as the party’s Flagbearer for the 2024 election.
This follows concerns that the former Governor of the Bank of Ghana failed to congratulate Mr Mahama in his post primary statement.
Dr. Duffuor who has promised to continue his Ahotor Project despite pulling out of the flagbearer race has also dispelled claims that his son, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor Jnr lost the Sekyere Afram Plains slot because of his last minute tussle with the party.
Spokesperson for Dr. Kwabena Duffuor’s Campaign, Kofi Kukubor in an interview on Morning Starr on Starr FM Tuesday said the former Finance Minister is willing to campaign to ensure ex-President Mahama’s victory come 2024 election.
“As I told you Dr. Kwabena Duffuor spoke with the former President and has assured him of support and his commitment towards 2024,” Kofi Kukubor told Host, Francis Abban.
