COVID-19 has shown us that access to healthcare is a human right – John Mahama

Former President of Ghana, John Dramni Mahama has said that the outbreak of COVID-19 has proven that access to health care is a human right and that every country needs a strong health care system.

The former President made this known through a post on social media sighted by MyNewsGh.com.

He said it’s about time the country develops telemedicine tools to complement the construction and provision of modern and well-equipped health facilities across the country.

To him, this will make it easier for every Ghanaian to access quality healthcare in order to build a better future for the country.

“The outbreak of #COVID19 has demonstrated yet again that a strong healthcare system is vital for any country. Access to healthcare is a human right!

We have to develop telemedicine tools to support the construction and provision of modern and well-equipped health facilities across the country. This will make it easier for every Ghanaian to access quality healthcare. Together, we will build a future”. He revealed.
