Covid-19: All 16 regions need isolation centres – John Mahama [Video]

Former Ghanaian leader John Mahama is urging the government to establish isolation centres in all 16 regions of Ghana as part of measures to control the spread of the coronavirus.

Mahama was instrumental in helping other countries during the Ebola outbreak in 2014, and as a result of his experience he said it will be counterproductive to transport patients from one region to another.

“Ghana must establish isolation centres in all regions of the country. A case identified in the regions must not be transported to Accra for treatment,” Mahama said in an address.
