All the 12 disqualified presidential aspirants were yesterday given a lifeline by the Supreme to correct anomalies on their nomination forms.

In an unanimous decision, the apex Court of the Land directed the Electoral Commission to give all of them a fair hearing.

The Court in its judgement also extended the nomination period to the close of work today November 8.

However, the representatives of the various political parties who are battling the disqualification of their presidential aspirants from the 2016 election over errors on their nomination forms, are not happy with the Commission for making them wait for several hours at its headquarters after a Supreme Court ruling.
