Cocoa roads project in Amenfi West will not be stalled – Veep

Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur has assured the people of Amenfi West, in the Western Region, that the demise of their MP, John Gyetuah, will not stall the Cocoa road projects in the area.

The Vice President made the comments during a visit to the area to commiserate with the Chiefs and people of Amenfi West.

He was accompanied by the Western Regional Minister; Paul Evans Aidoo, his Deputy; Ekow Gyan, and the former National Organiser of the NDC, Yaw Boateng Gyan.

The delegation was received by Nana Adu Boahene and his elders at the Agona Abusua Palace in the area.

Vice President Amissah-Arthur assured the people that the government would join hands with them to give the MP John Gyetuah a befitting burial.

The burial and funeral of the late, Member of Parliament will take place this Saturday at Asankran Breman in the Western Region.

A by-election is to be held on December 15, 2015.
