Check-Out MPs cited in the #Name and Shame Trend on Twitter

Ghanaian Twitter users have started a new trend with #Nameandshame just after the Accra High Court issued a restraining order on #FixTheCountry demonstration.

According to social media influencer Kalyjay, the leader of the #Nameandshame trend,  since the Accra High Court has stopped the demonstration slated for Sunday, May 9, 2021, Ghanaians who are peeved about economic hardship in Ghana will take the demonstration online.

He wrote “today will be beautiful. The court said No demonstration And I’ll go with that. That does not mean we still can’t complain. Online demonstration goes on. We will do everything online. #NameAndShame “.

In the #NameAndShame trends, some Members of Parliament including Majority leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Gender Minister and MP for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Sarfo, MP for Nsawam, Frank Annor Dompreh, among others, were listed as political leaders who have not embarked on any developmental projects in their various constituencies.
