Central Regional NDC Youth wing Eulogises Ambassador Valis Akyianu.

The Youth Wing of the NDC in central region has indicated that the loss of Ambassador Akyianu as they prepare for the crucial 2016 polls ahead is a big blow to the party in the central region, especially the teeming youth who drew inspiration and priceless counsel from him.

Recounting their Loss, a deputy regional youth organiser Eric Dadson sobberly noted how in the wake of events to wrestle power from the NPP in the 2008 elections, Ambassador Akyianu guarded then as regional Chairman ensured that the youth took centre stage of the campaign and assumed meaningful roles in the party in the region. Infact he was an architect of the youth renaissance in the party under the period of his chairmanship and beyond.

Ambassador Akyianu discharged his duties diligently as a former Chief Fire Officer of the Ghana Fire Service, Regional minister, Regional Chairman of the National Democratic congress in central region, Ambassador to Serbia. High Commissioner to Canada , Member of the Fire Service Council among a host of other positions.

His life exudes worthy experience that all the youth of the party in the region must look up to, embrace and carry along as we discharge our political duties.
Samuel Valis Akyianu ,an illustrious son of our motherland has led a purposeful life and made significant contributions to all facets of our national life.
