The campaign vehicle of Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah, the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s parliamentary candidate for Tema West in the Greater Accra Region, has knocked down and killed an 18-year-old girl in Tema.
The girl, Sarah Believe Amponsah, was walking by side of the road when the KIA Sportage vehicle veered off the road and hit her and a yet-to-be-identified passer-by.
According to a report the Daily Guide, the two were rushed to the Sakumono Hospital but Sarah was pronounced dead on arrival while the passer-by was admitted.
