Brong-Ahafo Patriots call on Nana Addo to step down for Mahama

We members of the Brong-Ahafo Patriots is calling on the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to consider his age and step down as a candidate to support the President John Dramani Mahama to go for the second term as president.

Though Nana Addo is blessed to be 73 years now, members of Brong-Ahafo Patriots beliefs he would be facing challenges such as forgetfulness, indecisiveness and regular bodily pains, therefore it would be an honorable thing for him to step aside and support President Mahama to go for the second term.

As a group we know for sure that President Mahama has acquired enough experience as president in his first term to move the country forward to an expectation of Ghanaians if given the second term.

Nana Addo as a true statesman should support President Mahama and use his remaining years in the world to invest in the creation of jobs for the increasing unemployment youth in the country to benefit.

It is our hope that Nana Addo step aside and support President Mahama so that after the elections, President Mahama will appoint he (Nana Addo) as a member of the Council of state to offer advices on how best the country can move forward.

We belief that Ghanaians made a mistake in the 2008 elections by voting for an old man in the person of Prof. John Evans Atta Mills, who was almost of the same age as Nana Addo, but unfortunately died whilst in office to the dismay of every Ghanaian.

Ghanaians will not repeat such a big mistake by voting for another old person in the person of Nana Addo to experience such a bitter situation where the entire nation was in apprehension, therefore Nana Addo should honorably throw his support for President Mahama to go for the second term.

It is our hope Nana Addo will heed to our plea and honorably throw his support for President Mahama.

Long Live Ghana, Long Live Brong-Ahafo Patriots!!!!!!!!!!
