Bawumia presents academic award to Yaro Kasambata

The vice president of Ghana, Dr Alhaji Mahamoud Bawumia has presented a Master of Science Degree in Defence and International Politics to Mr Yaro Kasambata on behalf of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College.

The former Public Relations Officer of the National Petroleum Authority acknowledged that it is by the grace of God that he has come this far as this happens to be his second successful Masters degree programme.

In a Facebook post captured by Ghanapoliticsonline.com,he said
“By the Grace of God, I received an award; “Best Dissertation for 2017”.
It was gratifying to have Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia present to me the “Best Dissertation” for 2017.

On Friday, 18th August, 2017; I graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Defence and International Politics from the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College. This is my Master’s Degree number two.

By the Grace of God, I received an award; “Best Dissertation for 2017”. My prize for the best dissertation award, I received the following;

1. A book titled “The Psychology of Resolving Global Conflicts: From War to Peace-Groups and Social Forces” edited by Mari Fitzduff and Chris E. Stout.

2. A shield from the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College.

It was gratifying to have Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia present to me the “Best Dissertation” for 2017.
