Information abailable to us Ghanapoliticsonline.com indicates that the president of Ghana Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo had a meeting with Vice-president Dr Mahmoud Bawumia to discuss the way forward in tackling the opposition National Democratic Congress’ nomination of Professor Jane Naana Opuku-Agyeman His Excellency John Dramani Mahama’s running mate for Election 2020.
The veep who is said to have met the president who is in isolation was asked by the president not to chastise the good professor due to the overwhelming reception she has received so far after her nomination but rather channel his jabs to the flagbearer His Excellency John Dramani Mahama like he has always done.
Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman was nominated by H.E John Dramani Mahama days ago after which the entire country has been thrown into a state of jubilation with many welcoming the news as a great decision.
The source also revealed to Ghanapoliticsonline.com that Dr Bawumia has been asked to coach his wife Samira Bawumia to face the Professor in line with their insulting agenda to win the 2020 because they are all females.
It is also rumored that Dr Bawumia who has been silent since the announcement of the NDC running mate will start talking in the coming days.
