Atebubu: Council Begs President To Reinstate Sacked DCE

The traditional Council of Atebubu Amantin in Brong Ahafo is appealing to President Mahama to as a matter of urgency intervene in the alleged dismissal of Atebubu Amantin District Chief Executive (DCE), Sampson Owusu Boateng which has plunged the area into chaos.

The Council says further delay on the part of the presidency in clearing the air with regards to the alleged dismissal will render the entire area a security threat which might affect the livelihoods of the inhabitants.

The appeal made by the Omanhene of Atebubu Amantin, Nana Owusu Akyea Brempong at his palace, follows the series of clashes between some supporters from the camps of the allegedly sacked DCE, Sampson Owusu Boateng and the MP for the area, Sanja Nanja.
