Asiedu Nketia leads NDC team for Burkina Faso congress

A delegation of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) left Accra today [Friday] March 10, for a congress in the Burkina Faso capital of Ouagadougou.

Led by its General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the delegation is attending the National Congress of the governing Movement for People’s Progress (MPP) which is considered as its sister party.

Accompanying the General Secretary are Honourable Sophia Ackuaku, NDC MP for Obom-Domeabra; Sidii Abubakar, National Youth Organiser; Ms Vida Addae, Deputy National Treasurer; and Peter Boamah Otokunor, Deputy Director of Research.

Mr Asiedu Nketia who was recently voted as the Vice President of Socialists International, an association of political parties around the world who share the socialist ideals, will also be representing the association

The delegation will also meet the President of Burkina Faso after the Congress and return on Monday, March, 13.
