Andre Ayew to miss Mali clash?

Deputy skipper of the Black Stars, Andre Ayew is doubtful for Ghana’s clash against Mali on Saturday due to illness.

According to reports from Gabon Avram Grant in a press conference on Friday confirmed that Andre Ayew is battling with a mild illness, however, he failed to name the sort of illness.

It would be another big blow for the Black Stars, if Andre Ayew is unable to feature against Mali, since they will be missing the services of Baba Rahman, who has been ruled out of the tournament after picking up an injury against Uganda.

Andre Ayew scored Ghana’s only goal in their win against the Cranes of Uganda in their opening group D game.
The Black Stars will take on the Eagles of Mali on Saturday at 4:00pm.
