23 August 2022

Former President John Dramani Mahama has observed that no amount of money is worth a life indicating that the Northern Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Alhaji Ibrahim Mobila would have been alive if that was the case.

Speaking at the Seventh Day Funeral Ceremony in Tamale, he recounted his last conversation with the man he described as a father.

“I called and spoke to him when I heard he was not feeling well. We send some money to support his medical expenses. If money could buy life, Alhaji Mobila will be alive today”, he disclosed.

According to him, the late businessman and farmer has shown courage and selflessness. “His dedication to our party NDC and to Ghana as a whole. A dedicated party leader, a businessman and a farmer. Allah grant him deserved rest”
