Akufo-Addo to name Kotoka International Airport after JB Danquah

With the “growing” campaign for change of name from Kotoka International Airport to Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah Airport, information picked by ghanapoliticsonline.com indicates that as part of the agenda the ruling New Partriotic Party led by the President Nana Addo Akufo-Addo to change some reputable tourist sites name, Kotoka International Airport will be changed to JB Danquah Airport if the NPP wins the 2020 Presidential elections.

Close sources to government have revealed to ghanapoliticsonline.com that if Akufo-Addo wins 2020, he will continue the agenda of “killing” the Nkrumah brand and attempt to raise his father and uncle’s names above all the great men who have fought for the development of Ghana.

One of the lead campaigners of the change of Kotoka International Airport to Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah Airpot is celebrated Ghanaian gospel musician Sonnie Badu who believes that the name of the main gateway into the country has spiritual implications.
