Akufo-Addo sells Kotoka international airport for $70 million

The Ghana Airport Workers Union is embarking on serious protest against the Privatisation of Kotaka International Airport between Government of Ghana and Turkish Consortium TAV / SUMMA.

Information gathered by Angel News exclusively is that, Government of Ghana under the Office of the President Akuffo Addo and Aviation minister,Hon Joseph Koffi Adda has signed 15 years take over agreement of the Kotoka International Airport(KIA) between Turkish Consortium TAV/SUMMA with a initial loan seed capital of $300 million dollars for the next 15 years with $ 70 million dollars for the first 5 yrs of operations.

Documents intercepted by Angel News Reporter Kwadwo Baffour indicated that, the agreement was finalised dated 2nd June,2020 but the whole process started 2017.

The take over is inline with President Akuffo Addo’s national policy priority of developing Ghana as an aviation hub in Sub – Sahara African includes ,the newly built terminal 3,2 1 and the entire management of the Airport.
