Akufo-Addo, NPP fomenting trouble in Ga State- Koku Anyidoho

A Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has alleged that some elements within the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) are fomenting trouble in the Ga State.

The maverick politician told Kwame Tutu on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that anytime the NPP takes over the management of the state, chieftaincy crisis escalates.

He made reference to the death of the late Yaa Naa and some subjects who were murdered under former President John Agyekum Kufour.

On the installment of the two chiefs in just a week by the Ga State he said, we witnessed a similar situation under Kufour where Adjiri Blankson and IC Quaye installed their own chief amidst anarchy, bloodshed and lawlessness in the capital city.

He was responding to the recent attack a police station in Tamale by the Karaga Boys, a group associated with the ruling party. He said, the lawlessness being perpetrated by these vigilante groups, is not only limited to them but they [NPP] are sending it to the chieftaincy institution just to create confusion in this country to divert attention from the challenges confronting Ghanaians. He called on Ghanaians to blame the NPP for the new installation stressing further that, it is their modus operandi.
