Mr. Abdul Malik Kwaku Baako Junior, a veteran journalist, has acknowledged that victory in the 2020 general election would be hard for his mate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and that he might lose.
In an exchange with Kwame Sefa Kayi on the morning show of Peace FM Kokrokoo this Wednesday, December 2, 2020, Mr. Kwaku Baako intimated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) led by former President John Dramani Mahama could not be easily defeated.
According to him, while he has done tremendously well with Nana Addo Dankwa Dankwa Akufo, John Dramani Mahama will give him a hot chase.
I’m not a pollster or a prophet. I have only one vote as well but frankly speaking, for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, the election won’t be easy. Victory will be daunting if you have an adversary as good as the NDC. He won’t be taking it lightly.
You can end up laughing on the wrong side of your mouth if you underestimate an adversary like the NDC, but I don’t see the NPP underestimating the NDC.’ added Mr. Kwaku Baako.
Mr. Kwaku Baako added that he looked through the spirits, and on Monday, December 7, 2020, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and the NPP would emerge victorious.
It will not shift if I look through the crystal ball. The seat will be occupied by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo. noted Mr. Kwaku Baako.
Mr. Abdul Malik Kwaku Baako adds that if in an unlikely case, the NPP loses the election, he is not afraid to face John Dramani Mahama and the NDC in the Opposition, because of the autocratic PNDC period was able to support him.
