Akufo-Addo caught Mustapha Hamid stealing Cash from his brief case but not me – Karbo Breaks Silence on phone stealing allegation

Spokesperson for the Vice Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party Dr Mahamadu Bawumia and Parliamentary Candidate for the Lawra constituency Anthony Abayifa Karbo, who was recently accused by media reports for having stolen the mobile phone device of Akufo-Addo at 2015’s extraordinary conference in sunyani has revealed that, spokesperson for the Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party Mustapha Hamid, rather was caught by Nana Akufo-Addo stealing huge sum of cash from a brief case left under the care of Mustapha Hamid, on a recent past trip of Akufo-Addo in one country, overseas, for a fund raising event.

Speaking exclusively to our news reporter from the asylum down head office of the NPP, one member of the party’s communication department who demanded to remain anonymous explained what Anthony Karbo had revealed to them concerning this issue “According to Anthony Karbo, One time, our flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo as part of demands from his chosen profession (Politics), was on his usual tour to raise funds from outside Ghana and to seek the mandate of Ghanaians abroad to make him President. As usual of him, Akufo-Addo and his team of which Mustapha Hamid was part ,lodged at a certain prestigious Hotel. On one evening at the hotel,  Nana Akufo-Addo was in his room together with his spokesperson Mustapha Hamid, who perhaps came to assist the flagbearer with some basic demands and errands. After a while, our flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo left a brief case filled with large amounts of Cash realized from the said fund raising event in that western country, under the care of Mustapha Hamid as he(Nana Akfo-Addo) proceeded to the bathroom which was inside the room to take a shower. However shortly,  upon coming back from the bathroom, Nana Akufo-Addo who had enveloped his body with a big towel opened the gate and lo and behold, he saw Mustapha Hamid hastily stuffing his pockets with valuable notes of that country’s currency”

“According to Anthony Karbo, Nana Akufo-Addo felt worried and asked Mustapha Hamid why he didn’t ask him for money but rather, chosen such negative path of stealing from Akufo-Addo to riches? Karbo explained that, those who call the shot in the family of Nana Akufo-Addo wanted Mustapha Hamid sacked and relieved off his position but for the intervention of Akufo-Addo, who pleaded on behalf of Mustapha Hamid because he feared Hamid might take certain innermost and unexpressed informations out, Hamid was pardoned and now, although he was considered for the same position (Spokesperson), there is a barricade for him and he knows his limits with respect to our Presidential candidate,” the source stated.

Last year, news from  media outlets reported about the missing of Akufo-Addo’s Mobile phone device at NPP’s extraordinary congress organised at the Sunyani coronation park. Subsequent reports established that, deputy communications director for the party, Anthony Abayifa Karbo was fingered as the prime suspect who stole the mobile phone device of Nana Akufo-Addo. Ostensibly, Member of Parliament for the Assin Central constituency who is a very close confidante of Nana Akufo-Addo has confirmed recently that “Nana Akufo-Addo has surrounded himself with moles” and that, “those closer to Akufo-Addo do not wish him well at all, and they are saboteurs working against Akufo-Addo’s dream of becoming President of Ghana”
