AGENDA 50/50 STILL ACHIEVABLE – MARK OLIVER KEVOR

Eastern Regional Secretary for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mark Oliver Kevor speaking to Captain Kofi Owusu on Radio 1 Breakfast Show ‘Susubiribi’ made it clear that the NDC’s agenda 50/50 is still on course and it will be fulfilled in 2020.
The “Kyem Pe” schema which was meant to whisked fifty percent (50%) of the vote cast in fovour of the party in the region could not see light of the day after a heavy defeat by the party in the 2016 general elections.

However, according to the Eastern Regional Secretary, the opposition NDC’s desire to obtain 50 percent of the votes in the region in 2020 is achievable.
He further explained that the impressive record of his government and the effective organizational measures the party has put in place will enhance the achievement of the task.
Responding to questions from the host, he reiterated that being in an opposition is an opportunity for the party re-organise and prepare itself for a stronger come back.

Mr Kevor further accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the cause of the numerous suicide and tragedy cases. He blamed them for all the bad omen that has befallen the country.

Ghana has recently been experiencing tragedy from suicide to road accidents leading the loss of precious lives which has caused fear and panic among Ghanaians.
