Adanse Cultural Troupe, is set to mesmerize dance lovers in some parts of the country with its choreographic dance pieces.
The group, since its inception about a three years ago, has thrilled diverse audiences in the country and beyond with its own variations of traditional music and dance, as well as contemporary dance pieces.
Ghanaian traditional music and dance fans have been assured of magical performances from the group later this year during its impending music and dance shows in some selected areas in the country.
The Troupe’s mission is to promote and sustain African culture by presenting dance and music that illuminates the richness and diversity of African traditional values.
The group derives its dance techniques and methodology from movement characteristics, aesthetic qualities and the philosophy of African dance traditions, as well as the enormous movements and rhythmic resources available in various communities throughout Ghana.
Speaking to the lead dancer and Vocalist Dede Lartey he revealed to us that, their upcoming regional tour is going to base more on more dance less music , aswell as also discover more upcoming dancers.
