Ada is among the first towns to benefit from a CHPS compound constructed from the ten percent pay cut from President Mahama, the Vice President and government appointee’s.
In 2013, government took a decision to put ten percent off the salaries of government appointee’s into a fund to help build CHPs compounds in rural areas.
President Mahama mentioned this when he addressed the Chiefs and people of Ada as part of his Accounting to the People tour of the Greater Accra region.
