Accra Police Command introduce new emergency numbers for December 7 election

With less than 24 hours for Ghanaian electorates to exercise their franchise by electing a president and parliamentarians, the Accra Regional Security Taskforce has introduced three new emergency numbers [055 -7999-911, 055 -7999-922 and 050 -7102-369] in addition to the existing ones to enable the public and the media to reach its information desk during the December 7 elections.

According to a statement signed by the Public Relation Officer ASP Effia Tenge, the new development is part of the security arrangement to ensure it does not lose sight of any vital information or act of violence that has the tendency to mar the peaceful conduct of the elections.
