Aboso-Damang roads will soon be constructed – President John Mahama

Contractors will soon start working on the Aboso Junction Aboso Huni-Valley Damang road to ease the frustration commuters go through whenever they ply the roads.

They are expected to move to site before next month to construct the dilapidated roads.
This was revealed by President John Dramani Mahama at Bogoso, the capital of Prestea Huni-Valley District of the Western Region on Thursday.

Meeting thousands of supporters at the forecourt of Best Fm after his supporters flooded his convoy to halt it, President Mahama said he is in known of the bad nature of the Aboso Damang road and will make sure the contractor working on it completes in no time to save travelers.

President Mahama acknowledged the need for the Prestea Huni-Valley District to feel the developmental agenda of the NDC government hence the ongoing rehabilitation of Prestea Town roads and Bogoso township which he said will start soon.

The supporters would not have allowed the President to leave without him touching on the Bogoso Junction Bogoso Anyanfuri road which has recorded some setbacks since its start.
On that, President Mahama assured supporters and residents of Bogoso, they will see the completion of the first class road by the end of July this year.
President John Dramani Mahama was on a three day tour in the Western Region to connect with its people, solicit information from them, inaugurate and inspect the various projects his government has done.
