The Electoral Commission will hold the Abetifi by-election today, July 16, 2016.
The by-election has been necessitated by the death of the Member of Parliament for the constituency, Peter Wiafe Pepera, on May 21, this year.
The EC said polls will open at all polling stations from 7:00am and close at 5: 00 pm.
The Commission said adequate measures have been put in place to ensure a smooth exercise.
Parties contesting the by-election include the NPP and the IPP. The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) however said it will not take part in the by-election.
