The founder and general overseer of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, has disclosed that he prophesied over Mahama’s defeat and comeback in 2016.
According to the Archbishop, this was a message he delivered to the President himself that he was convinced that John Mahama was supposed to exit power in 2016 and return after 2020.
Duncan-Williams made the disclosure at a visit to the President-elect by the Apostolic Fathers on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. He said he told Mahama in 2020 that he wasn’t returning to the presidency at the time but later, after he had told him he was going to leave the high office in 2016.
He said the prophecy made him convinced that Mahama was going to return to power irrespective of what happened once the year 2020 had passed.
I remember that when we talked in 2016 I had mentioned to you what I felt prophetically, that you will have to leave, and at the right time, you will come again and 2020 we met again with Hon Elvis in my office and I said to you that Mr President you are not coming now, you will come after 2020.
“So, when 2020 ended, I was very confident irrespective of whatever anybody said that it was your time to come back to fulfill the mandate and to finish your unfinished business,” he revealed.
The man of God also prayed for Mahama and expressed his hopes for a Ghana where the bad things that have plagued the nation over the years would be ameliorated.
“I believe that by God’s grace, who preserved you, kept you alive, and you didn’t die and you lived and you are still here, He will guide you, protect you, and give you what it takes to move this nation according to His mandate to where he wants to take this nation to and we want to pray and believe that in your time of office, the negative narratives that have plagued governments of this country will change during your term in office and that we will see a new and beautiful Ghana by the grace of God,” the Archbishop stated.
