Over 500 benefit from free NHIS registration in Sunyani

The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection in collaboration with the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has registered a total of 550 elderly people free of charge onto the National Health Insurance Scheme in the Sunyani West District of Brong-Ahafo.

The move is part of the Ministry’s policy of assisting the elderly to have access to good health care.
