Four young brothers of the same parents, aged between 8 and 12, have drowned in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region.
The incident happened on Saturday January 23, Class News’ regional correspondent Frank Jackson reports.
The four, Jackson said, decided to take a swim in a river at Atwima Gyida, before proceeding on an errand to buy porridge, but none of them will swim out alive.
A fifth peer, who was with the four, left the riverside after waiting, for a long time, for them to emerge out of the river, but to no avail.
The deceased boys were from a nearby town called Atwima Foase.
Residents in the area are awestruck about the incident. The Police there have launched investigations into the incident.
