The Vice-Chancellor of the Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU), Professor Emmanuel Ohene Afoakwa, has reiterated the university’s unwavering commitment to producing graduates who are not only skilled in ICT but also equipped to become the next generation of techpreneurs.
Addressing the 34th Matriculation Ceremony of th3 Accra-based Tertiary institution, Prof. Afoakwa assured them that GCTU remains dedicated to delivering exciting and relevant ICT programs that prepare graduates to meet the evolving demands of industries and organizations. More importantly, he emphasized that beyond being sought after for their expertise, GCTU graduates will also have the entrepreneurial skills to establish their own businesses, effectively becoming ‘techpreneurs.’

Over the next four years, you will not only gain knowledge but develop the skills needed to innovate, create, and drive digital transformation,” Prof. Afoakwa stated. “You will be empowered to start your own businesses and become techpreneurs, shaping the digital economy in Ghana and beyond.”
