Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Emmanuel Nii Ashie-Moore, has urged party faithful to reject a circular calling for people to submit their names for appointments.
According to the Chairman, he has been “notified of a letter in circulation indicating submission of party nominees from constituencies for appointments.”
The Chairman says he is not aware of such notification either from the national or regional quarters and should be disregarded.
“Let me state explicitly that I am not aware such notification from the apex
level of the party, Neither has the regional executives committee been consulted nor have approved such directive,” portions of a release from his outfit Wednesday, December 25, 2024, indicated.
He, however, indicated that the said circular was put up by the Regional Secretary of the party without any consultation from any of the other executives, an act he says blatantly disregards party laid down structures.
“This is indeed a sole decision of the Regional Secretary without any
recourse to laid down party structures.
“Kindly disregard the letter completely with much seriousness it deserves,” he added.
