More Than 100 Communities In E/R To Be Connected To The National Grid

More than a hundred communities in the Eastern region are to be connected to the national grid.

The move is to improve upon the livelihoods of the local citizens. Addressing the Chiefs and people of Oterkpolu, after inspecting works on the Odumase- Oterkpolu road, President Mahama said Parliament has approved the project.

Meanwhile President Mahama, is expected to inaugurate three projects on the second day of his Eastern regional tour.

They are an Enhanced Community Information Centre and District Administration block at Akyemansa and an Engineering block at the Koforidua Polytechnic.
