I will deliver all my promises – President-elect assures Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs

President-elect, Nana Akufo-Addo has paid a courtesy call on the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs and assured them of his commitment to fulfilling all promises made to Ghanaians.

The visit on Tuesday morning, was the first since he was elected as President after the December 7 elections.

It was also more of a return gesture as the President-elect visited the Greater Regional House of Chiefs at Dodowa before starting his regional campaign ahead of the elections.

The President- elect, said “I would deliver all the promises made to Ghanaians and asked that you remember me in prayers, guide and support me to achieve all the many promises.”

He also asked the Chiefs to guide him when he is going wrong in the interest of the country.

On their side, the Chiefs also tasked Nana Akufo- Addo to call his supporters who are causing various mayhems after the elections to order.

That they said could mar the peace and democracy enjoyed in the country and also put his (Nana Addo) reputation to questioning.

Nana Addo assured the Chiefs that, he would let the law deal with anyone who is caught going against the laws whether a supporter of the party or not.

The streets of Dodowa has also been thrown into wild celebrations following the arrival of the President-elect to the area.
