We’ve not conducted polls on 2016 elections – BNI

The Bureau of National Investigation, BNI, has denied reports in a prominent newspaper that it collaborated with a pollster to conduct an election survey across the country in March this year.

A statement issued by the National Security Council Secretariat, quoted a publication dated 27th June in the Daily Guide with the headline, “NDC is losing 2016 elections, Says BNI Secret Report”.

The newspaper alleged that the BNI survey report gave the NPP 51.85% while the NDC garnered 41.52%. ghanapoliticsonline.com

The BNI assures the public that if a report on any election issue will be done by its office, it will be put out for public consumption and not kept secretly.

The BNI urge the public to consider the paper’s report as false.
