The United Kingdom (UK) and Ireland chapter of the National Democratic Congrass (NDC) says they have traveled back home to vote for President John Mahama to enable him win convincingly.

Addressing a rally organized by ‘Mahama ladies’ at the Kawukudi park in Accra, madam Louisa Nelson, UK/Ireland chapter women organiser said ‘We have travelled far from Uk to vote. Our coming should encourage you all to come out and vote massively for President John Dramani Mahama. I plead with every supporter to be very vigilant during the elections and collating of results”.

She added that the “only group of people who can help president John Dramani Mahama and NDC Parliamentary Candidates to win the elections is you and I” and encourage all to go out and vote for President John Dramani Mahama and NDC.

Alfred Freddy Kotogbor NDC London south Youth organiser in an interview with kessbenfm.com said Ghanaians must put the nation first, irrespective of our location. He added that ‘what happens in Ghana is also important to us. We have travelled far from Uk to vote.If we can travel from Europe to Ghana to vote why not our brothers and sisters in Togo and other African countries . Me( Freddy) ,I am urging all Ghanaians in togo, ivory coast, Burkina faso and other African countries to come and vote.What President John Dramani Mahama is doing in Ghana, the massive infrastructural developments is what is happening in Europe so we have to retain the president to continue his great work”.

The group from the diaspora says Mahama deserves a standing ovation and a second term for the numerous projects his government have embarked.

Present at the rally ground were Zenator Rawlings,Nana oye lithur, Ndc deputy national women organiser and Mr mills, minister for lands and natural resources among others.
