The Central Regional Secretariat of the NDC has learnt with great joy and remarkable goodwill of the appointment and elevation of Hon. Kweku Rickett-Hagan (MP) as the Minister-designate for the Central Region. The Secretariat wishes to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to H.E. President John Dramani Mahama for this noble honor done not only to the Hon. Minister designate popularly referred to as “Kweku B3y3 but to the entire region.

Leadership of the National Democratic Congress in Central Region warmly receive with gladness of hearts His Excellency’s appointment of Hon Kweku Ricketts-Hagan.

While thanking the President for this decision and trusting the aptness and precision of his decisions as the Commander in Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces whose decisions have always inured to the benefit of the Central Region at all times, we congratulate Hon Ricketts-Hagan and warmly welcome him as he assume his seat as the premier of the Central Region.

Leadership and the rank and file of NDC in Central Region assure him of our unbridled and unalloyed support to make his tenure as the Regional Minister blissful, Successful and historical. Your elevation to the high office as Minister-designate has come about as a result of your determination for hard work and also as someone who believes in the phrase ” unity in diversity”. Your appointment, the Regional Party Secretariat believes shall go a long way to unite the party and the Region the more to achieve our Agenda twenty(20) seats and 57% of valid votes for President John Dramani Mahama. The Secretariat wishes to assure you of our unflinching support in achieving this agenda and also the development of the Region.
Once again, we take the opportunity to congratulate you and also thank His Excellency the President.

We must admit we are really going to miss Hon Dr Aquinas Tawiah Quansah, as it was so phenomenal working with him. He is a pillar around which our party revolves in the Region and as he soldier on to higher heights, we pray the good Lord will strenghten him to continue being the generous and hardworking Comrade that he is known to be. We are optimistic you will excel in whichever role His Excellency entrusts in your hands.
