We Have Really Worked This Past Three And Half Years-Prez Mahama

President John Mahama has said his government have really worked this past three and a half years after assuming office as President of the Republic of Ghana.

The record of the NDC government in terms of providing social and economic infrastructure for the people of Ghana he said is remarkable.

According to him, his government, have delivered on its mandate given it by the electorates. Speaking to residents in Kumasi, on Tuesday, June 28, as part of his tour of the Ashanti Region , President Mahama said: “The achievement chalked over the last three and half years is remarkable. Talk of roads, infrastructural development, investment in health, education, water among others is unmatched. We have resolved the energy crisis. We have really worked.

” ”When you are given power to govern, you must go back to the people and account to them for your stewardship. And that is why we embarked on this Accounting to the People Tour. The tour is to afford me the opportunity to explain to you what i have achieved, what i’m doing and what i intend doing.http://ghanapoliticsonline.com

,” he added. President Mahama said, Kumasi being the second ‘capital’ of Ghana is very dear to his heart, and since his government is not discriminatory, he has spread development to every part of the country irrespective of whether the region voted for him or not.

”Kumasi is the next after the Greater Accra Region in terms of population; Kumasi deserves it’s fare share of the national cake. The NDC does not discriminate against any region whether the region voted for us or not.

We have fairly distributed to every region across the country when it comes our investment and development over the last three and a half years,

” he stated. President John Mahama today [Tuesday] started his accounting to the people tour in the Ashanti Region by making a first stop at Asawasi, a suburb of Kumasi. There he was met by a gathering of chiefs, opinion leaders and party faithfuls. President Mahama recounted the regions he has toured so far, saying that from what he has seen, he can confidently say, his government has achieved a lot.
