Wayoosi Refused To Thank Mahama Because He’s Campaigning For Nana Addo -Radio Presenter

Rainbow Radio presenter, Agyemang Prempeh, has alleged that popular Kumawood actor Wayoosi who received financial assistance from President John Dramani Mahama when he was on sick bed, is a member of Nana Addo’s pressure group called Creative Arts for Change.

Speaking on his hot Saturday entrainment show, GH Entertainment, which was monitored by Attractivefm.com, at the time he was interviewing the PRO of the film producers Association of Ghana FIPAG, Mr. Ola Micheal, as to why Wayoosi refused to acknowledge and thank the president for his support, the popular presenter said that it’s possible that because Wayoosi is a member of Creative Arts for Change, that’s why he refused to thank the president.

Though the PRO of the film producers association disassociated himself from that claim, the radio presenter went ahead to say that the PRO can go and cross-check. “You can go and cross-check but as far as I am concerned, he’s a member of the group and that might be one of the reasons why he’s shying away from thanking the president” Agyemang Prempeh insisted.

Already, Wayoosi made a sharp and steep U-turn – hours after denying that he never received any money from the president when he was sick. His explanation was that, his wife who received the amount while he was on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) did not give him a proper briefing until after his radio interview.

“I was asleep when they brought the money. Because of my sickness I didn’t see anybody during their visit. What the nurses told me after I woke up was that the minister asked the delegation to bring me the money. I should’ve asked further but I didn’t – so after, I finished the interview on the radio station yesterday, my wife told me about what I said concerning who donated the money.”

Ending, he said, “It was then that she told me that it was the president who sent it not the woman. My wife is the one who collected the money. She told me that it was the president who sent the money but it went through the woman because she is the minister for our industry.”
