Vigilante Groups Are Illegal And Unlawful – Prosper Bani

The Minister for Interior, Prosper Bani says vigilante groups are illegal and are not recognized by the laws of the country.

He said anyone found guilty of such activity will be prosecuted as an individual.

Mr. Bani was speaking in Accra Tuesday when his Ministry took its turn at the ‘Meet The Press Series’.

He said mechanisms have been put in place by the security services in conjunction with the EC and political parties to protect ballot boxes and election materials.
