Vice President,Bawumia begins a four-day tour of Northern Region

Vice President will begin a four-day tour of the Northern region today (May 18), his first since assuming office.

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia would visit most parts of the region to interact with the people, leaders and NPP party faithfuls.

The tour would begin at Yendi, with a courtesy call on the regent of Dagbon, Kampakuya Naa Abdulai Andani and the Abudu Regent, Boling-Lana Mahamadu Abdulai. He would also pay a courtesy call on the Overlord of the Gonja land.

On Friday, he would join Muslims at the Tamale Central Mosque for prayers.

Dr Bawumia would end his tour on Sunday with a visit to his home town, Walewale where he would visit some family elders and party leaders in the area.
