The Vice President, Mr K.B. Amissah-Arthur, on Friday hosted Ghanaian teenage movie star, Abraham Ataah, at the Flagstaff House in Accra.
Abraham Attah recently won the Best Male Actor award at the Independence Spirit Awards.
Mr Amissah-Arthur congratulated him for his feat in the global movie industry and encouraged the teenage star to sharpen his talent by taking his academic work seriously.
“Abraham has shown great talent. I have seen a bit of the trailer [of Beasts of No Nation] and he acts naturally”, Mr Amissah-Arthur said.
Commenting further, the Vice President said “you are a role model. Those who criticised you want you to do better and so do not let that bring you down”.
Mr Amissah-Arthur presented him with a laptop computer.
For his part, Abraham Ataah thanked the Vice President for hosting him and the people of Ghana as well as his parents for supporting his cause.
