Vice President Amissah-Arthur Confident Of NDC Victory In December

Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur says government will not do anything to thwart the will of the people of Ghana in the December election.

He said though the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) is confident of winning the election, it will continue to respect the electoral laws and will therefore not interfere in the work of the EC.

Vice President Amissah-Arthur made the pledge when he opened the meeting of the Socialist International, Africa Committee in Accra.

On behalf of the NDC, he congratulated the incoming UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, Who headed the Socialist International from 1999 to 2005.
