VEEP reiterates government’s focus on attaining industrial economy

Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur says government has prioritised technical and vocational education with the view of making Ghana an industrialised economy while empowering the youth.

He said government is continuously focusing on education that emphasises skills development to address the country’s developmental needs and also create sustainable jobs for the youth.

Vice President Amissah-Arthur said this when he participated in the 60th anniversary and speech and prize – Giving Day of the Cape Coast Technical Institute in the Central Region.

He said government remains committed to the conversion of all Poly-technics into Technical Universities.
