Veep inaugurates 2.2m water facility in Ellembelle District

Vice President, Kwesi Amisaah Arthur has inaugurated a 2.2 million cedi water facility for the people Esiama and its environs in the Ellembelle District.

The running mate to President Mahama on the Nation Democratic Congress (NDC) ticket, is on a 4 day campaign tour of the Western Region canvassing for votes for his boss.

The inaugurated facility has 18 stand pipes, an overhead tank and other features.

According to Mr. Amisaah Arthur, water was life adding he who presents water presented life urging the electorates to vote and retain President Mahama for a second term.

He stressed every democracy needed strong internal mechanisms to contain abuse but regretted that the New Patriotic Party (NPP), under presidential nominee Akufo-Addo, dissent in the NPP is not tolerated such that heading to the 2016 crucial elections, the party is saddled with Acting Chairman, Acting General Secretary, Acting Vice Chairman and others in acting capacities because substantive executives have been booted out.
