Veep Amissah-Arthur attends Edina Bakatue festival

Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has charged the chiefs and people of Elmina in the Central Region to always get involve in the National Sanitation Program to keep the area clean. This is because if their environment is clean it will improve the tourism potential of Elmina.

Vice President Amissah-Arthur said this when he joined the people to celebrate this year’s Bakatue.

Vice President Amissah-Arthur said government takes seriously issues with premix fuel distribution to the fisher folks and urged the people to come out with suggestions to improve the distribution of premix fuel.

He appealed to the activists of the political parties to avoid the use of intemperate language and focus on issue-based campaign.

Mr. Amissah-Arthur said admission to the John Atta Mills Fisheries College in Anomabo will begin in October. He, therefore, asked the people to enroll in order to improve on their industry.

The Vice President promised to ensure that the Edinaman SHS is provided with a bus to enhance movement, teaching and learning.

The Omanhen of Elmina, Nana Kodwo Conduah appealed to politicians to value the country’s peace. He asked them to do issue-based campaign.
