Ursula Owusu to head the Ministry of Communications

President Nana Akufo-Addo has named Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful as the minister-designate for the Ministry of Communications.

Explaining his decision to select the “iron lady” as the Minister for that position, President Akufo-Addo described her as a strong woman with power views.

He added that, for such a position, government needs someone who is on top of issues and would not be easily swayed by anybody.

“She is a very brilliant person with the needed experience and character to handle the ministry with its demands,” he stated.

He added that, the nominee has her own ideas which she believes in and could come out with strong views to help the country which is the best way to serve the interest of Ghana.

The President would announce other nominees tomorrow and expected to finish his announcements by Friday.
