The youth wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper West Region have showered praises on President Dramani Mahama for demonstrating total commitment in enhancing the livelihood of the people in the Region.

NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS (N.D.C) REGIONAL YOUTH WING, UPPER WEST REGION 24 th March, 2016
On behalf of the teeming youth and the entire good people of the Upper West Region, I wish to convey our heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama and the N.D.C. Government, for demonstrating their total commitment to the enhancement of the livelihood of the people in the Upper West Region.
We convey same magnitude of appreciation to the Government and citizens of Japan, for the support given the Government of Ghana to construct sixty- four (64) modern CHPS Compounds in under served locations within the Upper West Region through ( JICA).
The support from JICA has complimented government’s effort and His Excellency President Mahama’s vision to bring health service delivery close to the door step of every ordinary Ghanaian.
The sixty- four CHPS Compounds commissioned by His Excellency the Vice President on Wednesday 22nd March at Loho in the Nadowli Kaleo District, will go a long way to augment the health service delivery especially in the remote areas of the Region.
We are appreciative of the fact that, this intervention, which unquestionably remains the single largest intervention in our health sector for some decades now, will contribute in no small ways to nib in the bud, the ugly menace of maternal and infant mortalities.
His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama and the N.D.C have demonstrated excessive commitment at ensuring that, this region’s health service delivery meets the contemporary challenges in our health systems.
This is evinced in the ultra- modern regional hospital project which is steadily progressing, the construction of polyclinics and several other CHPS compounds in the under served parts of the region, the upgradement and construction of several health training institutions in the region amongst several other intervention.
As youth to whom the future of this Region will be bequeathed, we can only show our gratitude to His Excellency the President and the N.D.C, by giving the President and the party, a convincing endorsement in the forth coming general elections.
It is our conviction, that a second term for His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, will give him the leverage to lift the Upper West Region to be at par if not beyond other regions in terms of development.
On this note, I urge all young persons in the region, to make a personal commitment at working assiduously, to earn His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, a handsome 79% of total valid votes cast in the region and a 100 % endorsement for the N.D.Cs parliamentary candidates in the region.
I appeal passionately to all young persons who have acquired age 18 to take advantage of the forth coming limited voter registration exercise, to have their names on the voters role. All party faithfuls are also hereby encouraged to give the exercise, the maximum vigilance and attention that it deserves, with a caution to do their work within the remits of the law.
