THE UNTOLD SUCCESS STORY OF SADA….. PART 1!!!

Hi folks, I am back on the false impression being created by the likes of Manasseh Azure and some journalists that SADA is all about growing trees and it is therefore a failure since 85% of the trees grown by SADA were successful.

Heheheeeeee, I can tell you are confused like those confused bunch that call themselves journalists yet don’t deem it wise to dig into issues before coming out with it. Well, Part 1 of “the untold success story of SADA helped us know that SADA is helping to bridge the wealth gap between the northern and southern parts of Ghana by providing the people with quality healthcare.

In implementing its “SADA Millennium Villages Projects” the organization has ensured that the education of our young men and ladies is prioritized. It is said that “knowledge is power” and to empower our young ones, SADA did not overlook education. SADA have taken steps to help improve the quality of education in the northern part of Ghana, increase age appropriate primary school enrolment, build capacity, improve gender parity in schools, etc.

Let me highlight some of the key achievements of the SADA millennium village project in the educational sector from January 1 , 2013 to November 30 , 2013 for us to know that SADA is not all about tree planting.
*4 new teachers’ quarters constructed at primary schools in Zamsa, Tedema, Katigri and Sariba villages to attract teachers to the cluster and promote their regular attendance.
*16 new classrooms constructed across 3 primary schools (Duu, Nabare and Baasa), and new gender separate latrines attached to each.
*Installed play grounds at 20 primary schools.
*Curriculum manuals created and delivered to 20 primary schools in the cluster.
*Organized radio programs and school dramas about importance of education and staying in school.
*Organized a Girls’ camp for 60 academically promising girls from the cluster in the city of Kumasi to expose them to the benefit of education for girls.

I will drop the curtains here by saying a very biiiiiiiig “AYEKOO” to the management of SADA and urge them on to continue the good works they are doing. I hope to see more projects that will help the process of bridging the wealth gap between the northern and southern parts of Ghana when I visit next time. At least you guys have proven that you are not being paid for just planting trees like some “False Prophetic Journalists” keep telling us.
