At a time when the New Patriotic Party is battling with financial crisis, some National officers within the party have been cited in various financial scandals and extravagant lifestyles.

Credible reports reaching the Weekly Guide Newspaper indicates that, the National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party, Sammi Awuku has purchased a brand new white Toyota Hilux pick-up with a 2016 registration number valued at GHC 197,000.00 http://ghanapoliticsonline.com

It is noted that, this fresh Toyota Hilux adds up to the fleet of cars already owned by Sammi Awuku, at a time the party is lurking in 8 years opposition.

Mr. Awuku after he completed his internship in 2008, at the School Feeding Program then headed by Dr Amoako Tufour, is not known to have worked for any company till date.

The luxurious lifestyle of Sammi Awuku has left many in doubt and to question his source of quick wealth.

Aside the fleets of vehicles, Sammi Awuku owns a luxurious mansion near Trasaco, an affluent area around East Legon and other landed properties at certain vital places in Accra.

Mr. Awuku is believed to be heavily sponsored by some top NDC gurus including the current Minister of Communication, Dr. Omane Boamah, Dr Sipa Yankey who is the C.E.O of Ghana Gas Company, Mr. Kwame Awuah Darko who also doubles as the C.E.O of BOST and TOR and a known NDC top financier, Kwabena Aidoo according to our sources close to him and the names mentioned above. Mr. Awuku’s contacts in government stretches to the Ministry of Finance where he receives monthly payments.

It is intriguing that certain confidential informations around their party Flagbearer continues to find its way at the seat of Government. Latest among this was the training of some handlers of Nana Akufo Addo by some three ex South African police officer’s in Central Region and was leaked to the National Security. It is also believed that Mr. Awuku was behind the leakage of Nana Akufo Addo ‘s full health records to Dr. Omane Boamah.

All attempts to get Mr. Awuku for his side of the story proved fruitile at the time of going to press as several text messages was sent to his phone without any reply.
