TV3 sacks 100 workers in massive restructuring exercise

Management of TV3 Company Ltd are reported to have laid off close to 100 staff in what we believes to be restructuring exercise.

Reports by Citi FM reveal that the move by the television station is part of an “on-going organisational and workforce restructuring”.

TV3 has been in the news lately after management of the television got sued by a cross section of workers who made the case that the retrenchment exercise was not appropriate – a development which has seen the working union embark on a massive demonstration

Meanwhile, management of the television station reveals that the massive layoffs will not in any way affect the programming of the television station.
